hi i just bought a 350 motor and i want to know some about it...... it is a 4 bolt mains motor because i checked... heres the #'s back flange behind head drivers side cast # 3970010 and 41 GM ...... bck passenger side same location..# L18 8..... front flange in front of head passenger side # V1299800 and the # i found under the valve cover cast into heads is 462624.....If any body has any info i appreciate it like year.. where it was built.. and the application.. thanks alot...

The block was made from 69 to 80 350's and was made drilled for 2 bolt and 4 bolt mains. It was also used for 69 302 Z28 with 4 bolt caps too. On the heads they were used 75-86 on 350/400's with 76cc chambers and can have , 1.72/1.5, 1.94/1.5 or 2.02/1.6 valves.
