2.295 cc, 315 bhp from the factory, easily tuned to 360 bhp, factory stated time for 0-60 mph was 5.4 sec but vaiours motoring magazines got it down to 4.9, bulletproof engine capable of delivering up to 250.000 miles before a major overhaul, extremely good brakes getting even better when opting for the factory offered upgrade of drilled and bigger front disks and drilled rears (both front and rear vented even with the stock brakes)

Colours offered included white, yellow, metallic dark blue and dark gray, silver and green, black, RSBlue.

Interior available in black leather or combination of black leather with blue or gray alcantara middle on front and rear seats and doors.

Around 2.800 cars made from March 1994 until the end of 1995 - very early

1996.
