competition package for E90 335i?

A friend of mine is considering an E90 335i sedan. He wants the competition package (ZCP) with the lower suspension and 19" wheels. However, that package doesn't appear to be available for the 335i. So, looking at BMW Performance parts, there is a performance suspension package and 19" wheels available for the 335i.

According to BMW or at least this dealer, the performance suspension package "lowers the vehicle by 25 mm compared to the standard suspension and by 10mm when compared to the sport suspension. Spring rates are increased 48% compared to standard suspension and 34% compared to the sports suspension" The package includes the following: "2 Front struts and mounts,2 Rear shock absorbers, Front sway bar, 26.5mm in diameter (replacement of the rear sway bar is not required), Rubber sway bar mounts for front/rear, Small parts (mounting hardware, covers and dampers)."

At about $1100, it isn't too badly priced either (of course, that doesn't include labor and tax!). So, how close is this package to the competition package? Is it worth the extra $$$$ or would the standard "sport suspension" be sufficient. He isn't planning on tracking the car, so it would primarily be for street driving.

Similarly, he loves the 19" competition package wheels (style 359M?). Assuming he can get them, would they fit a standard 335i or one with the performance or sport suspension? Alternatively, BMW does offer a style 269M at a whopping $3575 price tag for his car:

Since the style 269M wheel is 19", is it correct to presume that the style 359M 19" wheels could also fit the E92 335i?

Thanks, I know of their suspensions. In fact, if I were to buy anything from Dinan, it is his suspension, especially for street use as it is good stuff!

At this point, my friend is leaning towards a sports suspension with different wheels. Not sure about 19" because it is too easy to damage on the street. 17 or maybe 18" might be the ticket. Good Luck!
