I have a 1994 Chevy z71 with a gm crate motor that has about 30k on it . I am having low idle problems, surging2-800 rpm or so, very low idle, and when i turn the motor off, it diesels......I assume there is some fuel delivery problem, possibly injectors.... I have had the egr replaced, and it seemed to work fine for a little while, now problems back.... I am wondering, as I do not know alot about engines, if there is anything that i might try before i go and spend a boot load of money on the thing, if there might be a simpler option than a mechanic... tps, maf, if there is such a thing on this engine. I have replaced plugs/wires/cap/rotor/o2 sensor//ignition module/filters/ this prob seems to go away considerably when engine has reached operating temperature. Help!!!!!
