Just bought a 98 Jimmy Envoy 4X4. I hear an "oil can" sound of metal flexing about 15 seconds after switching it off. Is this common or do I need to look for plugged vent line from fuel tank or some such? Car Fax says it was commercial lease, no record of accidents.

It's the muffler contracting as it cools down. My wife's 98' Sonoma SLS does it religiously every 15-45 seconds after shut-down.
