I know this has probably been beat to death here, but, can anyone ( or everyone ) recommend a site for a casting number search ?. I recently built what according to the casting numbers was supposed to be a late (large journal ) 327 according the book I ordered out of Hot Rod magazine. I dont remember seeing a 327 with the pistons that far below the head deck . Thanks in advance.
