My truck is a 2002 K1500 ext cab 4x4, not a z71. Would getting some of these Edelbrock shocks that are supposed to improve the ride actually do anything or no?

Stay away from Edlebrock shocks. They are good for the first 5 or 10 thousand miles then go soft. Edlebrock will tell you to f*ck off when you ask for them to stand behind their lifetime guarantee. Monroe Reflex are better riding and handling and hold up too.

"What, sir, is the use of militia? It is to prevent the establishment of a standing army, the bane of liberty. . . Whenever Government means to invade the rights and liberties of the people, they always attempt to destroy the militia, in order to raise a standing army upon its ruins." -- Debate, U.S. House of Representatives, August 17, 1789
