My truck is a 2002 K1500 ext cab 4x4, not a z71. Would getting some of these Edelbrock shocks that are supposed to improve the ride actually do anything or no?

Stay away from Edlebrock shocks. They are good for the first 5 or 10 thousand miles then go soft. Edlebrock will tell you to fuck off when you ask for them to stand behind their lifetime guarantee. Monroe Reflex are better riding and handling and hold up too.
