Has anyone swaped from regular to tilt on a '98 or newer S10 or Sonoma? If so, what's the procedure? Do you have to change the whole steering column?

I would think that swapping a complete column would be the easiest way to do it with any vehicle. Changing a column out isn't that tough on an S-10 and you could get one from a salvage yard fairly easy. Probably cheaper than buying parts that you would need from the dealer anyway.

Yes, you have to change the entire column. Unbolt / unhook remove old column. Then reverse to install new one.
