the 700 and the 'long-tail' 350 are within an inch and a quarter of each other in length, you may or may not have to shorten the shaft, just look out that it doesn't bottom out at full rear spring estension
TC's are different
cooler lines will fit with very minor bending
you use a 'throttle cable, which controls both shift points and line pressure, you need a carb or throttle body designed for a 700, to get proper cable pull-out vs throttle opening....DO NOT try to 'rig' this part, or you will toast the 700 in short order
you will need a dipstick tube and stick for a 700
you will need a brake switch with a normally-closed set of contacts to enable converter lock-up and proper wiring in the pan + hydraulic control of lock-up speed
