2 cheap bugs 4 sale

ive got to sell these to bugs so i can get some more work done on my 67.....

BUG 1.......

1972 beetle 1200 in tidyish condition...very solid bodywork but wants some welding underneath....runs like a dream...no mot or tax....pale blue in colour...

drive it away for £195 ono....

BUG 2.......

1974 beetle 1303 in ok condition,paintwork is naff,comes with 2 s/h front wings,in marathon blue...nice engine with alternator...drives nice but brakes a bit sticky(just from standing) looks very solid underneath....drive it away for £195 ono

will sell the pair for £300.....

Does it have a factory fitted steel-sliding sunroof? Rack and pinion steering box?

Thanks anyway! A friend of mine is after a RHD '74/5 1303 (rack and pinion), but it MUST have a Sunroof... I think he'd have more luck finding the holy grail ;-)

Thats a shame. I have a left hand drive with all those things. and its a

1303 LS which apparently doesnt exist according to most insurance companies.....lol

Aww, that would be perfect if it wasn't for the LHD! My friend is in Singapore, and LHD is illegal over there... These things are impossible to find! lol

If anyone has *any* year of 1303 with the RHD and factory sunroof, and want to sell, then please email me through my website :-)

Why not do the swapover of bits to make a RHD with factory sunroof?

becuase with a 1303 it involves cutting out and welding in a new dashboard mounting clip. LHD sunroof 1303's are easy to get, but they won't pass inspection in Singapore...
