I reckon I'll need a new 'box for the 75 before long - it's started to whine like a milk-float. Started a couple of months back but hasn't got any worse, though.
Would I be right in assuming this is the diff. bearings? - if so, how long have I got before it implodes?
Most people just tell me to stick some thick oil in there and sell it quick... but it's such a lovely car, I don't want to part with it.
What sort of bill d'you reckon I'm looking at for having the bearings done and a couple of synchro rings?
