FS Scimitar - pictures now available

I've put some recent pictures of the Scimitar up at:

formatting link
and will add some interior and engine-bay shots later today.

Honesty compels me to note that there's a bit of drive-line noise - a prop-shaft bearing, I suspect. Doesn't invalidate this being a basically good car though. If you have the sapce and the skill-set to do most of the work on it yourself then it's a good prospect. Wish I had somewhere to store it/work on it.. :(

At a guess, I'd say mid Wales, hard to tell 'cos someone's parked a ropey old shed of a Scimitar in the way of the view ;-)

Aberystwyth, Wales as per the e-mail which is Aberystwyth university - don't know whether the university's the hut or the mobile home though.

"Honest old shed", if you please.. That set of photographs were taken in Tayvallich, in the West of Scotland (about 40 miles souuth of Oban), which explains all the dead insects laminated across the front of the Scimmy.. Speed and a Scottish summer, but at least it's a few thousand midges fewer.

The car is now in mid-Wales (about 4 miles south of Aberystwyth, on the Cardigan road). The interior and engine-bay shots going up tonight were taken in our less-beautiful departmental car park.
