I'm looking at older dodge conversion vans. One is a high mileage V* and the other a 1500 with a larger 6 and somewhat lower mileage. Can you tell me if both engines are reliable past 100,000? Would a full size van be underpowered with a 6? I'm looking for a recreation vehicle that could pull a small boat on long trips.
Get the V-8 I have had both. I currently have a
98 with the V-6 3.9 110K miles 1/2T short WB conversion van. very under powered, but most of my driving is around town/ no towing .
