Won't start. Checked Fuel Pump (OK), Spark at plug but no power to fuel injector. Timing belt was replaced about a year ago. Still looks good. No bad teeth. SMEC check. Connect + Coil to + Battery. Ground Pin 12 from
14 Pin plug to Ignition Coil board. Sparked. Haynes Manual says, says that this means that SMEC is bad. What do I look for in a rebuilt unit Its seems that there are quite a few available. Are rebuilt units already programmed. Is there any precautions in installation. Thats about it for now
