ok, 88 daytona, 2.2 turbo. i replaced the coil pickup, cap, rotor and auto-shutoff relay. the pump is working fine, and autozone "says" the coil is good as theres only 1.4ohms reisitance between the 2 posts on it. NOW - it's not sparking at all. pulled a plug and grounded it, but its not producing any spark, nor is it when connected directly to the coli wire and grounded. the coil gets 12v while cranking, and 0v with key on (believe this to be normal?). tested voltage out of the coil to the cap and got virtually no voltage, then from coil to a known GOOD dround, and got approx 7.5v - 14.4v as it cranked. father-in-law and i are stumped =/

On the same line, could it be the SMEC? If so, how would i test it, assuming there IS a way to test it

thx
