First off I have a lot of scratches on the hood. I tried to use a hard- shell wax on it. Now there are more scratches. Not sure if they were there before.
Is there anything that I can try that is safe? I don't want to make it worse.
I also have trouble with the cruise control.
The switch housing on the column is loose. However, the whole system seems to work.
I turn it on, and select the set/res button, and there is no engaging of the control. However there is the green light on the dash.
Does anyone have a website that could show me pictures of what to look for. Someone said that a cable was disconnected from the throttle. I have the appropriate Haynes book for the truck, However no mention.
