91' Explorer is missing bad after disconnecting the MAF sensor while the engine was running.(chasing a leak) Does anybody know how to reset the comp codes? My mech found three different codes (O2 sensor, MAF and fuel mixture?). I thought he would reset them and I would bring it by a few days later, but he said he didn't know how. Peculiar huh? Maybe I need a new good mech as well as some good advice. Thanks, Jorge.

You can erase the DTCs with most any scan tool or do it the "down and dirty" way...... disconnect both battery terminals and touch them together.
From where I'm sitting, it looks like this "mechanic" is using you as part of his learning curve.... not a spot that I would fancy...
