Speedometer Light

Nov 12, 2003 1 Replies

I have a 97 Explorer that has the speedometer light bulb burned out. Is there any place online where I can directions on how to replace the bulb?

Thanks in advance.

I just did this one. You have to remove the lower panels to reach the screws for the black insert of the instrument panel. You also have to pull the centerpiece out (where the radio is) to reach a screw that holds the right side of the instrument panel in. Once out, the lights are held in by twist-on plastic pieces. About 20 to 30 minutes to complete from start to finish.
