Thanks to the regular contributors to this newsgroup, I was able to quickly diagnose a non-idle condition to the IAC valve and, when cleaning it had no effect, I replaced it in about 5 minutes. I saved the Ford diagnostic charges, labour charges and possibly having to rent a car for the day. Keep up the great work!
