It seems that lifters otherwise fine but push rod cups from two lifters missing (see tinyurl.com/ypczq6). Any ideas where to get just the cups, would not like to remove heads

I didn't follow your URL but, the individual parts of hydraulic lifters aren't available. You replace the whole lifter, preferably in a complete set unless you enjoy doing the job twice. Things are slow this time of the year, and you can take your pick of scrap yards that would let you take parts off an engine that is open. (ask first of course, the dog does not like un-invited guests).
