Windstar -What's this sensor?

Windstar 3.8L Can someone tell me what is this sensor ? It is about



1.5in H by 3in W by 1/2in thick sitting next to fuel regulator on the right hand top corner of the engine. Aluminium body and has 2 rubber tubings connected to the EGR exhaust. Thanks .

Differential Pressure Feedback EGR

Yes. There is an orifice in the EGR tube. Measuring the very small pressure drop across that orifice allows the ECM to calculate the amount of EGR flow.

The ECM controls the EGR vacuum regulator solenoid. This valve controls the vacuum supply to the EGR valve.
