94 F350 460 Stalling

Dec 01, 2005 0 Replies
130,000 miles

All of a sudden after half day running felt a stutter leaving a job site.

Shortly after complete shut down, check engine light comes on. Just a rolling stone with no power.

Sit a minute or two and would start and run. Shut down 5 more times in 30 miles.

Mechanic took for a test drive and it stalled 1 block away. He could tell that on starting the key and letting it go it would fire. This led him to believe that the ICM was going.

Replaced Ignition Control Module.

Drivers side Fender towards windshield half way down.

All is well again.

Thanks Darrell
