I drive a 98 F150 with a 4.6 L V8 . It has over 200km on it and recently it's been skipping/ missing when the motor's hot and I climb a hill at steady speed. Coasting or accelerating it doesn't seem to do it.
Anyway, I've changed the gas filter, wires and lastly the plugs. When I pulled the 4 plugs on the passenger side of the motor, the threads were soaked in oil. I don't think it was coming from the combustion chamber as it was all around the threaded part of the plug and above.
Where could this oil come from?? Has anyone seen this before?
Any tips?
