04 lasabre still wont start

rats, rats, rats!

so i replaced the tps due to the p0122 code i got, (the tests i did on the tsp confirmed it was bad), and yet the car will not start.

i had a battery tender on the battery so it should be fine. whan i first atttempted to start, there was a pop, a puff of smoke and i stopped. the smoke was diffused by the cover so i did not see where it came from.

i cleared the tps code.

i pulled the 3 front/left plugs which were black and way out of the 60 gap aspec. they was iridium so i will find out if that is ok or not. i used a screw driver to check spark and it was probably more yellow than blue but it was consistant across the 3 cylinders.

i have an extra set of 3 coils and the icm they plug into and was thinking of swapping them out. i also have a used crank position sensor. (these extra parts are from a previous 97 ponitac bonnie)

i gret a squirt from the fuel rail when i push the schraider (sp?), valve. a friend can bring over a fuel pressure meter, but not before fri. no new codes, (no real suprise here ass the car hasnt started). any thoughts on what to do next?

:(
