1996 corsica problem

I have a friend who has a 1996 v6 3.1 corsica which started missing and the engine surges to high rpm. This happened after she moved car out of garage to do some cleaning. Car was running fine when she parked it but problem started when she went to move it back into garage. Does this sound like a dirty throttle body or some other problem. TIA
