Fuel Pressure Port

Vehicle has the usual GM schraeder valve on the fuel rail for pressure tests, injector cleaning, etc.

Problem on this one is the port is obstructed by a steel pipe going to the P/S pump. Anybody make a right-angle gauge adapter, or is common practice just to bend the P/S pipe out of the way on these engines??

Regards, Al.

If it has some give, you could push it aside. Are you talking about the valve on the passenger side of the car?

Yup, on the passenger side end.

That hose should move alittle, or you can remove the hold down bracket from the back of the alternator. (if you 96 is like my 94 3100)
