'93 Civic suddenly not starting, little blue plastic bits scattered under pedals.

Did you guess it ?

Those pesky nylon bushing/rests for the clutch depression=20 switch and clutch release switch .

Can't start the car if you do not have the clutch pedal=20 pressed and the nylon bushing/rests are the contact point=20 for those switches.

There are two on the clutch pedal and both disintegrated at=20 the same time. What a PITA to replace the one furthest up at=20 the top of the pedal at the pivot point !

so imagine a long bamboo skewer with double stick tape and=20 lying face up in the floorboard pushing the pedal in with=20 one hand while fishing the skewer with nylon bushing up to=20 the hole. It worked but it was a PITA and PITN and PITF.

There is a similar one in the brake pedal that just makes=20 your brake lights come on automatically and stay on till you=20 replace the nylon bit.

Learned about those here on alt.autos.(honda/acura)

So, thanks to those who helped n the past me
