Hyundai TV ad is now saying the 2012 Accent GLS 'gets up to 47 mpg' .

On the window sticker it says 30/40 mpg . Is this going to be yet another Hyundai Class Action Law Suit in the making for 2012 Accent GLS owners ? Its very hard to imagine this car getting even close to 45 mpg. Have you heard of an owner getting this much ? Thanks.

There is a mileage test in the April 2012 Popular Mechanics for Elantra vs. Focus. In real world testing both got 34 mpg city and 47 mpg highway. So, I would expect the smaller Accent to get 45 for highway but not for city, unless it is a hybrid. Then city driving is often the same or better then highway.
