Odd question maybe but.....Are they in any way structural, unfortunately due to my mother feeding me too much (or maybe storing me in grow bags) I'm a tad over 6ft 5" and they really get in the way of seeing on-coming cars!! I'd like to remove them and the bars they sit on but am unsure if they provide any strength for the screen. Or does anyone know a way of lowering the seat a couple of inches Cheers Shaun

Thanks! When I took them out I could see that the rod doesn't even go all the way through, I just thought how the screen seems so badly supported on the roadster, just that rod which is more for the hood I guess.
Didn't know their were spacers, I'll take the seat out and remove them, I was also seeing if I could get on old seat frame and remove some / all of the legs that the seat slider bolts too, I think I would still have clearance for the locking mechanism to work, but thats why I'd like to check with an old seat frame.
I'll see how it goes now, not driven it yet since I took the visors out but the other problem is the screen is quite distorted at the very top, the bit I look through!!!
