XJR AIR COND starts cold won,t cool after parking

Help,

Have a 98 xjr that has ice cold air when starting out in the morning After car has been parked in the sun after it initial use It wont cool worth a dam.It has to be driven at high way speeds for a least a half hr to cool the condenser before I can get even very moderate cooling. Fans are working. If this car stopa a red light for even a minute your toast.Pressures were just checked at the dealer. It is 110 degrees in NV but this car doesn't compare to even a old ford or chevy. IS a Jag not as adequate as a ford or chevy? The next day when you start out it is ice cold again. It is still 100 to 105 in the am. Help, dealer keeps saying its OK Freon is full .
