That is to say, questions about idle speed, not idle questions about speed ;-)
Ok then:
When shifting from Park to Reverse, the idle speed jumps up for a moment then returns to normal. I've never noticed this in my Toyota pickup (the car I've been driving for the last 16 years...)
When idling in park, if I tap the accelerator very lightly, the engine speed rises and falls, THEN rises a small amount again on its own before returning to normal.
Are these normal for the 4.0 liter I6 or do they indicate a problem ?? (95 Cherokee Sport, auto trans, 4WD, A/C.)
