Anyone know anyone who sell the spring retainers(clamps) that wrap around the springs? Looking for some for 48 CJ2. The springs are only 1.75 inches wide

If you check your local yellow pages for truck spring shops, they should be able to make you some quick and easy. I had a truck spring shop replace my springs and they made up the assembly straps for them as needed.
They basically hold the spring pack square until you bolt them in and the U-bolts take over the job. I have one left working on my 8 year old packs, one other is still 'there' and the rest are gone.
These straps are riveted onto a leaf also.
I saw some aftermarket ones here:

They make them so they might make custom ones.

You can probably very easily make some and rivet them through the existing holes.
