stupid black plastic collar for TJ shifter boot

Hey, does anybody know where I can get that black plastic "frame" that holds the rubber dust boot of my shifter onto the console. and what is it called? Can't even do a decent search online without knowing the name. (should've asked the parts guy)

They want almost 20 bucks for it at the dealer. Mopar must be using that cutting edge latest technology space age material or something. After paying almost 100 for replacement hood latches.

Some of the bone yards are almost as bad (and sometimes worse) than the dealerships.

I wish Specialty Parts was still in biz, but Mike sold off to someone (who then went poof). He became the parts manager at a dealership after he either found out that retirement sucks or his wife put him back to work to get him out of her hair.

Retirement is great. I put my wife to work to get her out of mine.

If Dick wasn't working on my Jeep all the time, I'd put HIM back to work so I could buy more parts *WEG*

Problem is databasix isn't going to do anything, it's a dedicated thermonuclearkookshelter.

Earle, please stop including the entire kook's post in your followup. It's getting the stuff past my filters.

I'll be sending them a subpoena any day now. You'll be Joan Doe #3 with claims against you for public nuisance.

Hotmail reports "Delivery Status Notification (Failure)" on attempts to answer the auto response. At first I figured they were filtering all Hotmail messages as spam, not a bad idea really. Finally I got a response from a human asking for more details of how Mr. DeSockpuppet's postings constituted abuse. I sent them a summary of how Mr. DeSockpuppet, Mr. Freud, Miss Dactille and others have intentionally flooded this news group with postings in a stated attempt to make the group unusable and to discredit Mr. Hughes as the cause of all the infantile postings. There are approximately 950 posts from Mr. DeSockpuppet mentioning "Goat****** Bill". You can personally verify this in Google Groups if you like.

Mr. DeSockpuppet is perfectly willing to post in this news group as long as he confines his flame wars to the subjects of Jeep and Jeeping. No one is interested in his infantile feud against Mr. Hughes.

Mr. DeSockpuppet is in clear violation of DataBasix's AUP prescription against newsgroup flooding. I hope at this point that they take appropriate action, because it appears that Mr. DeSockpuppet does not plan to stop.

Saludos cordiales,

Earle

I dare say that the fuckheaded nincompoop has read his own ISP/NSP's TOS/AUP and assumed that it applies to everyone. Not unlike those fuckheaded google posters who report posters to google, no matter where the poster is posting from.

If the poster in question crossed acknowledged spam thresholds take it up with the service provider. Have sold proof in numbers (Breidbart Index, look it up). If the poster has not crossed said threshold then you have two choices; 1. Ignore, 2 filter and allow your news client to ignore if you can't do it on your own.

"Earle Horton" stepped up to the podium, tapped the aging SM57 and announced in news:fss130$kl3$ snipped-for-privacy@registered.motzarella.org:

No doubt you can back this assertion up with a cite. Other than some soccer player and a rabid dog, what does "Cujo" have to do with gender-specific names?

How about "cuja"?

Please clarify one thing for me. "Sadheer" or whatever his real name is has shared our entire correspondence with you mental defectives. This is true, no? I hope you all get a kick out of the one I sent this morning.

Thanks.

The myth I see here is that you are safe continuing to do what you do. That's like the time I walked out on pond ice that was maybe two inches thick at the age of eight. So I got here, that means it is safe to go a little further, right? How about a little further? What if I jump up and down? That part cut it. Sometimes it is better to back off when you are ahead. Free advice, hope you follow it.

Since the answer is an obvious no, perhaps you'd like to just post the entire correspondence here? Consider this my permission for you to do so.

How's Durango these days? Shipped off to Fort Lewis College before Colorado State picks you up?

Should have started that computer ed. in Fort Collins in the first place, doncha think?
