Ok....

I get 11L/100km which someone pointed out is 21.4 US mpg.

He is talking 12L/100km which is 'lower' gas mileage or more like the

19.6 I was thinking I was getting.

You are getting wicked mileage! 26.7 US mpg is 8.8L/100 km.

OK, I think I'm full of crap now....

I've been keeping, OK DON'T LAUGH, track on a spreadsheet and must've screwed up the equation! Today I managed about 450km's on nearly a whole tank....well, it wasn't in the red just yet.

I'll figure out my calculations and get back to ya!! haha Me and math....it's like Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston....just stoned with no clue!! lol

SB did pass the time by typing:

I won't laugh. Got myself a spreadsheet that would have gone back to tank #1 on the ZJ except for a hard drive crash. I use it to keep track of service intervals, notes on what was repaired and when, etc.

There are a few oddities in there where numbers had to be fudged. Usually because a receipt got lost. Feel free to use/modify etc. I just keep it there as a backup.

Alright Alright....I'm a mook!

I was calculating km's per liter....not liters per 100km.

The best I got was 11.3liters/100km that's about par then!!

sorry guys!

ZZ,

2000 TJ in SW Florida.

The last 10,000 miles have come out to 17.5 mpg.

Mostly city driving, very little towing. The "fun" driving was in sand but probably less than 200 miles or so.

Use the Overdrive off till you get about 5000 miles on it when not on highway driving under 55 or so. I did and improved gas mileage about 3 miles per gallon. Amazing how much stronger the motor got with miles. I have about

7000 on it now and I only turn the overdrive off in real hilly sections.

I recently got 21 miles to the gallon on a trip but am getting about 19 now with daily commuting on secondary roads.

I am not going to complain about that.

Mine is a 2004 wrangler with the 4.0 and automatic
