Discovery 2 ACE problems

Hi The ACE warning light came on the other day (amber) on my 2002 Disco 2. I've checked the fluid and its ok. The warning light resets itself after the ignition is turned off - but lights up again 5 mins into a journey. You can detect adverse body roll - but when the light comes on it seems to stabilise (I think the system locks up in amber mode). I've searched the internet and it could be either the accelerometers or pressure transducer. Has anyone had a similar experience - should I punt for an accelerometer or transducer - or pay £60 for a LR Testbook check?? Ian

I'd be tempted to look at all the electrical connections first. Undo plugs inspect connections for cleanliness/moisture/corrosion etc..

The connections for the pressure transducer and solenoid valves on the valve block are in a particularly exposed location.

accelerometer or

Happened to mine, got progressively worse until it was always on, then at a service (by Marc Draper) the ACE filter was changed and initially cleared on a short test run. Then it came on twice on the way home - since then (a couple of months I suppose) it's stayed off.
