With much regret the trusty Disco is on the market. I don't need a tow vehicle any more but do need better fuel economy. Here we go:
1996 P plate 300 ES Electric everything, leather heated seats with electric movements. Heated windscreen Air con Twin sunroofs Full service history from new Back tyres good ( GY Eagles), fronts almost new ( Pirelli Scorpions )
Runs fine good starter, uses no oil or water, new clutch last year, new heater matrix this year.
30 mpg driven gently, 28 mpg hard. Runs best on BP ultimate.
Taxed until July, MOT until June although it will pass another with no problem.
Bad bits: Front sunroof u/s. Passenger seat electric switch is a bit iffy but works most of the time. Wear to synchro from first to second but OK with slow changes. Third to second is OK. Previous owner dinged the front n/s on a flint wall resulting in a scratch which has been painted but is still visible. Slight damage to bumper end caps at the rear. A little rust on at least one window pillar and some bubbles around the wheel arches as is normal for age.
Mileage 225000 hence starting price of £2,450
