hi all

L Series diesel cambelt failure does it normaly screw the valves/head

mine has just gone at 42K (supposed to last 48K)

just wondering if anyone knows if it damages the valves on this engine

the L Series is fitted to the earlier freelander diesel models

not the TD4

the engine came from rover and was fitted to the rover 400,200 and possibly the 600 later elecronicly controled versions were fitted to the 25,45
