Is there anyone out there in computer land who'se transfer box doesn't leak, either on the bottom cover or from the main layshaft which sticks out the end. If so,. how did you make it stop leaking, other than waiting for it to run out of oil.
My driveway is now a mosaic of different color oil splats fro various incarnations of solihulls finest, but the latest a series 1 disco (K '93), is threatening to wipe out my entire collection with its transfer box leaks.

From your description it sounds like things have got a bit "over pressure" in the box, "blowing" the seal and gasket.
My 110 normally doesn't leak except when:
- I've been thrashing it round the motorways too fast on long trips
- the oil is over-filled
- the oil needs changing (when it gets hot it goes thin and finds every escape point possible).
- the oil level is low (it gets hot as above).
It would seem that a new seal is required (get the "G" variant if you can) and a new gasket for the bottom cover, together with a new washer for the drain plug. Personaly, I'd suggest using Red Hylomar on the gasket for a full monty belt and braces job.
