LT230T transfer box

Is there anyone out there in computer land who'se transfer box doesn't leak, either on the bottom cover or from the main layshaft which sticks out the end. If so,. how did you make it stop leaking, other than waiting for it to run out of oil.

My driveway is now a mosaic of different color oil splats fro various incarnations of solihulls finest, but the latest a series 1 disco (K '93), is threatening to wipe out my entire collection with its transfer box leaks.

erm. I don't think either of the ones here do, but that's nothing of my doing.

I imagine there are gaskets, which need replacing, although I've not studied it. Cornflake box cardboard makes good gaskets.

Mine is now almost leak free! I replaced the two oil seals behind the props (1 front and 1 back) on Saturday. Now all I need to replace are the 2 (I think) gaskets to the PTO cover and then, fingers crossed leak free!
