Thought this might be of interest to some of the more mechanically minded bods here, a cut-away model of a pinz diff, showing the offset crowns on the axle shafts, diff lock, tiny differential set, axle outdrives, joints and seals;
Fascinating, looks like there are some nasty lumps out of the teeth on one of the crown wheels though.
The model was put together by a pinz owner who used an old axle, rather than one in good condition for obvious reasons ;-)
