It's not bad but after driving a dealer loaner ('04 Disco) I think the shifting on our '03 Disco could be better. The service attendant noted that '04s are a "little smoother and peppier". I wonder why...same 4.6L engine...is there any transmission linkage adjustment that could reduce slippage?
