Does anyone have any idea how the dashboard headlamp aim adjusters work on these things? They seem to be full of gooey gunk and hydraulically operated, and a friend's has stopped working and left the headlamps pointing at Australia, but I'm loath to take it to bits without a firm understanding of what I'm doing.

Mine died, there r 2 nobs on rear of each unit, set using them n dont use the adjuster.
Yes, done that. However, both are at maximum adjustment and I'm afraid they won't pass an MOT since they're still very low. I need to sort this properly, not just an interim fix.
