My dad has a 95 XM. You cannot get the rear suspension strut from anywhere in the world anymore. Perhaps other parts either. I stand to be corrected, but I doubt this part is different in the latest XM model, made in 2000 (or 2001?). I think that's abysmal anyway.
Last week a rubber part (that you also can't get anymore) burst spectacularly and the car starte burning the hydraulic fluid on the exhaust manifold. It looked absolutely magnificent at the back of the lorry, all shiny, covered with hydraulic fluid all over, though I assured him that it will look even better with "John West" all around it.
Cit is spelt "Sh" in my dictionary.
