Hi Guys Speedo suddenly stopped working. Cable is in 2 sections. Top part seems fine. Jacked up one wheel and spun it and noticed that the bottom section inner is not moving. Presume it must be the nylon drive gear??? Does any body know how to undo the bottom section from the gearbox? I cannot get a spanner on it - it looks like you need something like a basin tap wrench.

un do the 10mm bolt next to the cable nut and extract the speedo drive unit including the drive gear then u can undo the speedo cable. u will probably fine the lower cable has broken just where it enters the drive gear , u will have to buy the upper and lower cable as they com as one, replace the upper iner cable and the inner and outer lower cable hope this helps
