Sounds familiar. I kept the axles off two Pug 205s for a trailer as they were so self contained. Only three bolts either side to hold them on, it'd be dead easy to bolt them onto a couple of beams and build up into a trailer. Never got around to it though and ended up weighing them in for scrap after they'd been sitting long enough to seize up solid.
