Vehicle for 4 ppl + mobility scooter?

Obvious is for cleverer people than me...

Terrain... the easily-transportable ones don't seem to have the "oomph", although this could be an idea... the other problem is that the "rider" is scared stiff of tipping up, so something stable and solid is greatly desirable...

A suitable non-oversized trailer will almost certainly be OK on a standard B licence. However, trailers can be a pain as a general solution, due to security issues and problems parking.

You should have asked 2 months ago. I had a Fiat Ducato X plate in a two row seven seat configuration with loads of room behind. The Ducato has a very low floor pan, so ideal for ramps. Sold it for not much over 2 grand.

I do not like that idea much - even the 4mph scooters can be pretty damn heavy, let alone the 8mph ones - all of which (plus the 30kg of the "trailer") is going to be taken as noseweight by the towbar - outside the wheelbase.

Around 150kg hung out past the bumper. On a towbar rated, probably, for around 50kg noseweight.

In short, it's going to drive like a drunken hippo on iceskates...
