i cant find anyone, (fm, local boneyard), to let me cut the connectors i need off the harness. so i thought if i could determine other applications with the same connectors i would have more sucess. is there an interchange guide between a 94-97 miata and other cars, ( festiva, 323 ??)? where is it?

That is more typical than I'd like to see. There are other solutions, such as finding connector pins and using epoxy and shrink tubing to make connectors, etc. A good Ford dealer may have something of use.
