E320 Questions on Current Model

The lease on my current 2000 E20 expires October 2004. I have some questions on the current E Class and hope to get some feedback.

What is the benefit of the blue glass? Apparently, it is only available on the sports option.

How can I tell if the leather is only on the seating surfaces or all around. My current E320 had the option of full leather on front and back of the front seats and on the door panels. I'm consfused with the current models if they're only on seating surfaces or all around.

Any body or engine changes scheduled to occur within the next 12 months?

Should I get the Panorama Roof over the full leather?

Please let me know your opinions. My lease expires Oct. 15, 2004 so I have some time but I need to start doing my research. I live in the Los Angeles region. Any dealers you would recommend?

  • absorbs heat, since the "red" doesnt get through.

  • depends on which model you are interested in. Specify the leather option you need.
  • Yes .... but they happen all the time. They already have the E60 due for delivery and maybe even a E65.
  • Panorama roof requires the solar powered cooling option also

Keyless go, airmatic, tire pressure monitor, avantgarde would be on my list.
