Follow-up on 123 TD Brake Problem

A while ago I posted asking for advice on my 123's soft brakes. I did everything from changing the master cylinder three times to bleeding the brakes every different way possible. I blew out a front caliper recently on that car. I removed the bad caliper, installed the rebuild kit, then reinstalled it. Suddenly the brakes are working perfectly. I'm guessing the bad piston seal in the caliper was sucking air in so no matter how many times I bled the brakes, it was sucking atmosphere. When the seal got bad enough to bleed fluid, I replaced it and the problem was solved. And no, the bubble probably wasn't in the line since I never bled the brakes after I reinstalled the caliper. Just pumped then a couple times, then all was well. thanks for all the feedback when I posted the problem.
