Did you put on a new copper washer that came included with the calipers or did you keep the old ones? I usually keep the old ones. Never had a problem with leaking calipers.

I am getting back on as quickly as possible to tell you I "fixed" the problem. I had the bleed screw open, and each time I pumped up the brakes to test the hose, it was secretly leaking out the bleed screw, down the caliper, and then off the bolt hose, the bastard !

My bad....

Hmm.

Sounds like something I would do...

Glad you got it sorted out.

Bring the hose and caliper back to the parts store. One of them has a fault in it---likely a poorly casted caliper.
